Hi Ivo,
For simple things (if you have max/msp) you can remap the midi (and
possibly a joystick)
with max (but not the "msp", you can turn the audio OFF). Maybe it uses less
CPU with your computer.

I'd love to hear about this too. I gave up using JunXion a couple of
years ago because of this and other issues, but have recently gotten a
"nibble" about performing a piece that I originally designed for a
joystick... so I might be back...
